                            CALL FOR PAPERS

                               PODDP '00 

                  Fifth International Workshop on
             Principles of Digital Document Processing
                         September 11-12, 2000
                           Munich, Germany 

PODDP '00 is the fifth in a series of international workshops that
provide forums to discuss the modeling of systems that process digital
documents using theories and techniques from, for example, computer
science, mathematics, and psychology. PODDP '00 will be held in
conjunction with the DDEP '00 Conference at the Technische
Universitaet Muenchen (TUM), Munich, Germany. (PODDP '00 is, however,
a workshop and not a conference.) The workshop will be held on two
days, Monday, September 11 and Tuesday, September 12, 2000.

PODDP '00 encourages the submission of papers on a wide range of
topics in document models and systems, multimedia, digital libraries,
and the World Wide Web.  The submission schedule for PODDP '00 is 

Paper Submission Deadline:               Friday, April 28, 2000
Notification of Acceptance:              Monday, June 26, 2000
Copy Due for Preliminary Proceedings:    Friday, July 28, 2000
PODDP '00 Workshop:                      Monday-Tuesday, September 11-12, 2000
Final Version Due for Proceedings:       Friday, November 17, 2000
Camera-Ready Proceedings to Publisher:   Thursday, February 1, 2001
