L'un des correspondants de la Convention typographique (association),
auquel on doit notamment un article sur les _English Spelling
Reformers_, m'interroge sur ce qui suit...

seventeenth-century printers' matrices (or punches) from the Imprimerie
Royale? There was an Anglo-Saxon type-design cut for printing in Paris
which first appeared as far as I know in 1678. I should be very
interested
to find them. »
